About Reuben

Reuben Pinner began his career in architecture at Pinner Architecture and has since built hands-on experience in every phase of real estate, including acquisition, development, and the full design–build process. Over the years, he has self-performed nearly every step of his projects, giving him a practical understanding of what it takes to move a building from concept to completion.

His approach focuses on smart planning, energy efficiency, and long-term performance. Reuben is passionate about passive building and has incorporated Passive House principles into multiple projects across New York. In addition to co-founding Prime Builders NY, he runs Pinner Development, which focuses on developing high-performance, energy-efficient buildings throughout the city.

Reuben is a New York native and a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He lives in Williamsburg with his wife and two young daughters and proudly embraces life as a girl dad — attending dance recitals, learning K-pop routines, and enjoying all the things that come with it.
