Eric Hantman

About Eric
Eric Hantman has nearly two decades of experience across New York’s real estate landscape, starting in brokerage and development and later expanding into construction. He began his career in 2005 selling new development condos in Manhattan, quickly rising to manage multiple brokerage offices and lead high-performing sales teams across the city.
In 2008, Eric founded his own brokerage, where he built and led a team focused on residential sales, investment advisory, and development strategy. Over 12 years as owner and principal, he guided the firm through shifting markets, represented investors and developers, and built trusted relationships across New York City’s real estate community. During this time, he also oversaw the renovation and repositioning of countless residential and investment properties throughout New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.
Today, Eric leads Prime Builders in a way that is hands-on and grounded. He listens to his team and to his clients, and believes people do their best work when they feel supported and informed. He has a natural ability to rally a team, work through challenges, and explain the process so clients always feel clear and confident about what is happening.
Eric attended the University of Maryland before returning to New York to build his career. He and his wife are raising two boys in Fort Greene, where he proudly embraces the role of sports dad. In his free time, he heads upstate with his family to enjoy time on the boat, fishing, and unwinding.
