Miami-based café brand Pura Vida selected New York for its first expansion outside Florida, bringing its signature bright, coastal aesthetic into one of the country’s most competitive dining markets. Prime Builders partnered with the team across multiple locations, with Williamsburg serving as the flagship.
What made this project work was the way everyone leaned in together. From the earliest walk-throughs, Prime, the owner’s representative, and the design team shaped the space in real time—aligning on details, making decisions on site, and ensuring the brand translated naturally into a New York setting. When the scope grew to include a full kitchen on the lower level, the team adapted as one, adding what was needed and adjusting the plan without losing momentum.
The Williamsburg flagship became a shared effort to bring Pura Vida’s atmosphere to life in a way that felt warm, relaxed, and unmistakably theirs. The final space reflects the energy the brand is known for—refined, welcoming, and true to its identity.
Delivered in five months, it sets the tone for Pura Vida’s continued growth across New York.
